Key Responsibilities: Prepare and present high-quality dishes rooted in Egyptian and Arabic culinary traditions. Design and refine menus to ensure authenticity while incorporating innovative ideas. Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency. Source, select, and manage ingredients, ensuring freshness and compliance with Australian food standards. Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain excellence in preparation and service. Ensure the kitchen complies with health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with the management team to create seasonal and promotional menu offerings. Qualifications: Proven experience as a chef specializing in Egyptian and/or Arabic cuisine. In-depth knowledge of traditional recipes, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles. Experience in managing a professional kitchen, including staff supervision and inventory control. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Flexibility to adapt recipes and techniques to local preferences while staying true to cultural authenticity. A passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Preferred Qualifications: Culinary degree or equivalent professional training. Previous international work experience is a plus. English language proficiency (basic communication skills at minimum).
