You’ll have the opportunity to: Define, develop and drive the execution of the R&D strategy, ensuring alignment with Corvanta and Modaxo’s organisation and business strategy. Contribute to the overall business strategy as a SLT member, working closely with other functional leads to ensure alignment and overall delivery. Monitor and manage risk related to the R&D strategy, ensuring compliance and alignment with Corvanta policies and regulatory requirements. Oversee the R&D function, ensuring its objectives are met, including product roadmap development, execution and customer satisfaction. Ensure R&D investments are aligned with market trends and customer demands, balancing innovation with market feasibility and profitability. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management teams to understand customer needs and develop solutions that drive revenue growth and market share. Lead the R&D function with a strong focus on delivering commercial results while fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity. Prioritise R&D efforts that contribute directly to the bottom line, improving product differentiation and competitive advantage in the marketplace. Oversee the retention and talent development of R&D team members by encouraging continuous learning, skill development, and career progression to ensure high performance and long-term team stability. Lead change management initiatives within the R&D function to ensure smooth transitions during changes in processes, priorities, or structure. Drive the delivery of product releases, ensuring that R&D team leaders are effectively managing the development and quality assurance functions. Implement best-in-class processes and tools to increase efficiency of product delivery. Validate third-party solutions to ensure alignment with Corvanta’s business objectives. Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the development and delivery of innovative technical solutions that meet customer needs. Develop partnerships with key customers to co-create solutions, leveraging customer feedback and insights to drive R&D direction. Report progress and changes to the Group Development Director, ensuring visibility into R&D activities and alignment with broader Modaxo goals.
