We are now hiring for an Event Infrastructure Coordinator to join our team to deliver for the Australian Open 2026 and Summer of Tennis events. This is a full-time fixed-term contract until February 2026. As this is a seasonal role, we require full availability and flexibility across the summer months, December - February. About the role As Event Infrastructure Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing project support to ensure the successful delivery of Broadcast & Media spaces for the Australian Open and other Summer of Tennis events overseen by the Broadcast & Media Operations team. In this role you will: Oversee the development, documentation, and execution of timelines and project plans for various broadcast & media operational areas Serve as the primary point of contact for building contractors, suppliers, internal event operations teams, and venue management representatives Collaborate with the Broadcast & Media Infrastructure Manager to support the Design and Infrastructure team in the creation and implementation of media spaces Coordinate the procurement of broadcast and media infrastructure, including logistics, quotations, and ordering; negotiate with suppliers, obtain detailed quotations and invoices, and manage data input and cost control Contribute to the design and deployment of fit-out plans, including design development, overlays, and layouts for various on-site broadcast facilities About you To be successful in this role you will: Project management, event management, temporary construction experience or similar Prior exposure or demonstrated experience in the operations and delivery of major events is highly valued Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while adhering to standards, budgets, and deadlines Self-motivated with strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia What’s to love?
