The Role: Leeuwin Coast’s Albany Rock Oysters are grown in the pristine waters of Albany in the Southwest of Western Australia and recently won 3 Gold Medals at the Sydney Royal Show. As our business expands, we are looking to grow outside of our core market of WA and are looking for a passionate foodie to share our oysters with chefs and diners in NSW. We have an exciting contract opportunity ( 12-month term ) for a Sales & Marketing Representative to join our team. Based in Sydney , you’ll work closely with our National Sales Manager to support and grow our market presence. This is a remote role which includes some travel as required by the business. You will be passionate about increasing brand awareness and sales and will visit end user food service accounts and coordinate events to represent the Leeuwin Coast Brand. You will also be responsible for the acquisition, development and ongoing engagement of end user food service customers with Leeuwin Coast’s Albany Rock Oysters, delivering against business sales and marketing targets. Key Responsibilities: Visit end user accounts to increase ranging and sales of Leeuwin Coast Albany Rock Oysters. Engage with chefs and venue owners to promote Albany Rock Oysters and secure listings on menus. Coordinate events with customers, representing Leeuwin Coast at events and activations (including some evening and weekend work). Intimately understand the brand strategy so that you can uphold and enhance Leeuwin Coast’s brand reputation in market. Work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure all aspects of the customer experience is seamless and builds the Leeuwin Coast brand. Build strong partnerships with customers to drive mutually beneficial growth and unlock joint marketing opportunities. Report on market, competitors’ sales activities and update data base on weekly basis About You: Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferrable but not essential). At least 2 years of experience working in a Partnerships, Business Development, Sales and/or Marketing role. Content creation experience would be beneficial but not essential. Confident working with chefs, venue owners, hospitality staff and general public. Demonstrated experience in working autonomously with the desire and ability to create and build opportunities from the ground up. Proven experience in networking, relationship building and customer service delivery. Ability to adapt in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment, working well under pressure. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organisational and planning abilities. Proficient across the Microsoft Office Suite. Class C driver’s licence. What is in it for you?
