Description We currently have an opportunity for an Estate Maintenance and Operations Services (EMOS) Operations Manager. Join our Base and Estate Management team and play a key role in support the Downer Defence Contract for the delivery of the EMOS contract to the Department of Defence. Reporting to the Regional EMOS Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. This role is only open to Australian Citizens as the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance is mandatory. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Manage, coordinate, and deliver services for the EMOS bundle on the relevant site. Integrate the EMOS and Miscellaneous Services Packages deliverables on the relevant sites. Contribute to the development and implementation of a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for the suite of Base Services, including subordinate BCPs. Contribute to the development and maintenance of Base Plans (e.g. Business Continuity, WH&S, Security, Energy, and Water Management Plans) Provide and coordinate Base Services requirements at the relevant site, as directed by the Contract Authority, in support of Defence events, Defence Assistance to the Civil Community (DACC) activities, and Defence Force Aid to the Civil Authority (DFACA). What You’ll Bring Proven track record in managing large, complex service delivery contracts. Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship is mandatory). Significant experience in an operations management role. Strong budget management skills with a focus on profitability. Experience in contract management and development.
