Our State Government client is seeking an AO3 Processing Officer (x2) to join the team on a temporary basis. Based in Brisbane’s Northside, with on-site parking available, the role will be starting late August and running for 6 months with possible extension. Working 36.25 hours per week, the casual hourly rate will be $49.40 plus super. About the role In this role, you’ll be responsible for reviewing and processing financial and project-related data, performing calculations, and identifying discrepancies or variances across multiple sources. You’ll interpret supporting documentation such as invoices and cost breakdowns, reconcile submitted data with internal records, and ensure compliance with established procedures and guidelines. A key part of the role includes responding to stakeholder enquiries via phone and email, providing clear, accurate, and timely advice Requirements Proven experience working with numerical data and performing financial or project-related calculations; Confidence interpreting financial documentation; High level of accuracy and attention to detail; Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in responding to customer enquiries; A process-driven mindset and the ability to follow complex procedures consistently; Quick to learn new systems, with the ability to adapt in a changing environment; and Collaborative approach with a commitment to team goals and continuous improvement.
