This team improves risk management, business continuity, and crisis management arrangements. Additionally, the team ensures that business units meet standards and collaborates with management to promote good practices. The key duties of the position include The role As a Business Resilience Advisor , you are responsible for assisting the Manager to action and champion the role of business continuity, crisis and emergency management across ASIC. You will also be required to: Coordinate business continuity and emergency response arrangements, and support business owners with BIAs, Risk Assessments, recovery strategies, and BCP development. Assist business units in updating incident response plans, templates, contact lists, and records. Review business continuity risks and support control testing to ensure responses and plans are effective. Support Crisis and Incident Management Teams during activations to manage disruptive events effectively. Maintain resources, systems, training, and exercises for Crisis and Incident Management teams. Coordinate ASIC's emergency management process, manage intranet pages, facilitate incident management team meetings, handle emergency SMS notifications, and prepare post-incident reports. Maintain and update the Business Continuity Policy Framework and other Business Resilience Frameworks. About you We are seeking someone with relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in Crisis Management and Business Continuity within large corporate or government settings. You will also demonstrate the following: Experience in managing emergency responses or disruptive events, including guiding management through exercises. Strong written and oral communication skills. Skilled in relationship management to engage and influence a multidisciplinary workforce. High-level analytical skills.
