About Price Brothers Contracting: Price Brothers Contracting is a locally owned and operated concrete construction company based in the Whitsundays, specialising in formwork, steel fixing, and concreting for commercial, residential, industrial and civil infrastructure projects. We have built a reputation for quality work and reliability, delivering successful projects throughout the Whitsundays, Mackay and Bowen Basin regions. The Opportunity: We are seeking experienced concrete construction workers with steel fixing capability to join our team as a casual employee, or potentially as a sub-contractor. The initial assignment will be on a large commercial construction project in the Whitsundays commencing in late July to early August and is expected to run for three months. Following this, we have a strong pipeline of projects scheduled for the later months of 2025, including commercial, civil and residential works across the region. Our business also operates FRP crews (including DIDO rostered work) on civil and mining infrastructure projects in the greater Bowen Basin and Mackay regions, providing opportunities for varied and interesting work. About You: To be successful, you will need: Proven experience in concreting, including finishing skills Have concrete construction trade qualifications from your country of origin Good steel fixing skills A commitment to quality, safety and reliability White Card (Construction Induction) Current driver’s licence and reliable transport What We Offer: Strong market rates (and well above Award) Consistent, ongoing casual work with a respected local contractor Weekly pay Supportive team Opportunity to work across diverse projects locally, as well as projects regionally if this is of interest.
