We are dedicated to teamwork and delivering excellence. Job description We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Hire Controller at our Somerton branch. In this role, you are the front of the business and are responsible for providing outstanding service to all customers, either in person at the branch or over the telephone. Duties: Coordinate daily operations – equipment deliveries, transfers, pick-ups, repairs, changeovers & breakdowns Identify & respond to customer needs via all communication platforms Make recommendations about complementary equipment or products that will support the customer's needs Maintain a good knowledge of our range of gear to help find the best solutions for our customers Complete a variety of branch administrative duties – generate hire schedules, invoicing etc. Contribute to the achievement of sales revenue, safety, customer loyalty and KPI's etc. Support the team by unloading, loading, and potentially delivering equipment, cleaning equipment as well as general housekeeping duties around the yard and office Process payments in accordance with the creation and completion of hire contracts and invoices Opening and closing the branch as required Experience required: Ideally you will have experience in a similar position including: Previous experience in a customer service role, and a genuine interest in helping others Experience within the hire industry would be highly regarded A strong work ethic and a willingness to go to the extra mile Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal Problem solving skills & ability to manage multiple tasks in high pressure environment Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite A current driver's licence is essential Have the ability to assist around the yard with various duties If you are passionate about growing your career in the hire industry with a reputable hire company then apply now.
