About the Role: The Aged Care Clinical Excellence Lead will promote a culture of excellence in clinical care and customer service. You will be central to leading the development and coordination of care models aligned with modern clinical practices, ensuring high quality care in line with ACH Group's Clinical Governance Framework. What you'll do: Inspire, mentor and engage our senior clinical leaders and their teams to cultivate a culture of high performance in customer care. Proactively plan and develop innovative care models aligned with contemporary clinical practices.Lead Clinical Educators to foster a positive learning environment and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Lead and mentor clinical leads through a community of practice, providing ongoing support, guidance and development opportunities. Develop and implement education and training plans, tools and professional initiatives to enhance the clinical capabilities of the clinical team. About you: Professional qualifications as a Registered Nurse and current registration with AHPRA. Significant experience as a registered nurse with a high level of relevant clinical knowledge. Demonstrated clinical experience and competence, including experience in evidence based complex care. Post Graduate education in aged care related studies or education would be highly regarded.Demonstrated experience in leading and supporting education programs for clinical staff.Ability to work with a team to embed quality management systems within services and programs. Experience in resolving high impact high prevalence clinical issues by supporting clinical staff and mentoring them through change.Knowledge of regulatory compliance, including the Aged Care Act and Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Standards. Proficient data interpretation and trending analysis expertise. A commitment to support, guide and lead the team and to work independently. Effective communication focusing on positive and useful resultsUnderstanding of our customer base and have a commitment to a high level of customer service. A current driver’s licence.A Police Check for unsupervised contact / vulnerable groups less than 12 months old upon commencement. This is a full-time role is based from the Mile End office and requires travel where required and as necessary to all ACH Group locations.
