About the role/ Experience required: Within this environment, the Test Manager plays a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end defect lifecycle across a complex Salesforce ecosystem, supporting up to 10 agile squads. This role ensures defects are triaged efficiently, resolved promptly, and reported transparently. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise and leadership to foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Key duties and responsibilities Defect Management & Triage Oversee the entire defect management lifecycle across multiple Agile squads, from identification through to resolution and closure. Facilitate daily defect triage meetings with developers, testers, product owners, and stakeholders to prioritise and assign defects based on impact and severity. Cross-Squad Coordination Act as a central point of contact for all defect-related communication across 10 Agile squads and system integrators. Escalate critical or blocking defects to program leadership and contribute to Go/No-Go readiness discussions. Tooling & Reporting Leverage Jira and Xray to manage defect workflow, maintain real-time visibility, and generate dashboards for stakeholders. Ensure traceability between defects, test cases, and user stories in Xray. Leadership & Governance Champion a "fix it right the first time" mindset among development teams. Guide squads on best practices for defect prevention, test coverage improvement, and quality gates during sprints. The successful candidate has experience with: 5 years in defect/test management roles within large Agile programs Deep experience with Salesforce platforms (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or equivalent) and advanced expertise in Jira and Xray, including dashboards, filters, traceability, and workflow design Strong understanding of defect metrics (severity, priority, fix rate, reopen rate) and their implications on delivery risk and familiarity with SIT, UAT, and production warranty cycles in large-scale digital transformations Proven ability to lead defect governance forums, driving collaborative problem solving under pressure Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to influence developers, BAs, POs, and executives Structured thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ability to remain calm and decisive in fast-paced and high-pressure delivery environments and committed to building a quality-first culture with a strong sense of accountability Desirable: ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level Certification Experience working in Government or Disability/Health-related sectors.
