As a Payments Specialist , you’ll sit at the center of it all, ensuring transactions are seamless, secure, and compliant. From managing third-party PSPs to investigating fraud flags, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our systems fast, safe, and client-friendly. Description We’re looking for a process-minded and client-focused Payments Specialist to join our Sydney team. You’ll manage the full payment flow, from deposit to withdrawal, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure that every transaction is smooth and compliant. How You’ll Make an Impact Optimize end-to-end payment processes: deposits, withdrawals, and client flow Act as the bridge between Finance, Tech, CX, and external PSPs Handle payment-related client enquiries with accuracy, speed, and care Monitor and improve processing success rates across platforms Detect and escalate suspicious activity, supporting fraud and AML protocols Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and privacy standards Contribute to PSP introductions, webinars, and business improvement projects Analyze trends and report on processing insights to internal stakeholders Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs Support projects that improve service quality and operational excellence Skills And Experiences Who We’re Hoping to Find Strong background in transaction monitoring , fraud detection , or payments operations Experience in financial services , trading , or banking is a strong advantage Proficiency in English is essential, Mandarin fluency is a major bonus Strong communication skills, written, verbal, and interpersonal Excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities Detail-oriented with sound judgment and a high standard of integrity Comfortable with bespoke or newly integrated systems Proactive, logical thinker who thrives in fast-moving environments Team player who values growth, learning, and continuous improvement
