Are you an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist looking to earn some extra cash without the commitment of a full-time role? Whether you want to top up your income, cover the rising cost of living, or just enjoy a few more rewarding hours each week, we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you! At Doreen’s OT, we offer a low-pressure, high-reward role that lets you work as little or as much as you like – all while making a meaningful impact on the lives of neurodivergent children and their families. Why Join Doreen’s OT? Great Extra Income – Competitive hourly rates so you can boost your earnings without overcommitting. Ultimate Flexibility – Choose your hours, work around your existing job or family life. No Admin Hassles – Just focus on what you do best, and we’ll handle the rest! A Role That Fits Your Life – Work from home for admin & telehealth, with outreach therapy sessions in natural environments. Supportive & Passionate Team – Join a values-driven team that prioritises therapist wellbeing and professional autonomy. Clients Ready for You – No need to find referrals; we have families waiting for your expertise! Warm, Family-Run Culture – As a small, family-owned practice, we genuinely care about our team. You'll be supported, valued, and welcomed as part of a close-knit, collaborative environment. About the Role This is a subcontracted role with no pressure to commit to full-time – just pick up the hours that suit you. If you’re open to growing your caseload over time, we’re happy to support that too! What You’ll Be Doing: Supporting neurodivergent children using a strengths-based, neuro-affirming approach. Delivering flexible, outreach-based therapy in homes, schools, and community spaces. Working autonomously but with full support from our dedicated admin & operational team. Helping families navigate the NDIS and get the most from their funding. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care. Who We’re Looking For: ✔️ AHPRA-registered OT with at least 1 year of paediatric experience ✔️ Passionate about supporting neurodivergent children in a way that truly makes a difference ✔️ Comfortable with mobile therapy and outreach work (schools, homes, kindergartens, community spaces) ✔️ Looking for extra income without the pressure of a full caseload ✔️ Excited by the idea of joining a small, family-led practice where you’re treated as a whole person – not just a provider A Bit About Us At Doreen’s OT, we’re more than just a therapy service – we’re a family-run, values-driven practice with lived experience in neurodiversity. We pride ourselves on creating a workplace culture where collaboration, compassion, and flexibility are at the heart of everything we do. We truly care about our clients and our team, and we’re committed to delivering therapy that is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and neuro-affirming. This opportunity closes on 7th August, so don’t wait!
