The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty. The Cloud Solution Architecture role involves gathering customer insights, mapping architecture, and proposing digital transformation solutions based on Microsoft technologies. The role requires coaching team members to focus on customer experience through efficient delivery, driving adherence to Microsoft standards and recommended practices, and providing a holistic perspective of customer challenges and competitor architectures. The role is within the CSA Global Delivery team. It is a centralized group consisting of both full-time employees (FTEs) and Vendor CSAs dedicated to enhancing the customer's experience with Microsoft as they transition to hybrid/public cloud solutions. We achieve this by offering our customers value through adaptable and efficient delivery methods, all underpinned by standardized processes. This role requires prior experience on On-prem Security such as Active Directory, Windows Server Security, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management. Experience on Azure Arc is a plus. Responsibilities Customer Centricity Gather customer/partner feedback and map solutions to business outcomes; represent customer needs to internal teams. Guide team members to deliver a seamless customer experience and define success criteria, address dissatisfaction proactively. Business Impact Build strong customer relationships to identify and resolve technical blockers, accelerating solution adoption. Use knowledge of Microsoft and competitor offerings to identify growth opportunities and drive increased usage. Lead architecture design and technical optimization to ensure resilient, high-performing deployments. Understand industry trends and competitor solutions to position Microsoft’s strengths. Technical Leadership Act as CSA Pod Lead: drive team planning, manage customer relationships, and oversee team capacity and development. Develop and follow a technical learning plan; mentor and support less experienced colleagues. Share technical insights with internal and external communities; participate in industry events and share learnings. Generate and share ideas for improving intellectual property, technologies, and processes; identify and address gaps. Minimum required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8 years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting; OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6 years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting; Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications). Experience on On-prem Security such as Active Directory, Windows Server Security, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management.
