The key duties of the position include: As the Senior Manager, Academy Learning & Enabling, you will play a critical role in driving the Agency’s development, content creation, and ongoing operations of its Academy. You will lead change management in the Academy, including our expanding physical space as well as our continued program expansion. You will join a team of talented educational program managers and take the lead in organising our agenda as well as ensure that all operational aspects are well-managed. In addition, you will lead the Academy’s people leader program, personal development area, and wider skills development. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Team Management Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the broader Academy team, applying a strong eye for process and always thinking on how processes could be improved. In addition, ensure that accountabilities are agreed upon in the team by applying clarity on what success looks like. Development and Overhaul of Program for People Leaders Lead the development and implementation of an updated people leader program, in line with the strategy approved by the academy’s governance group in June 2025. Specific focus to be applied to bringing the program more in-house to ensure it targets the relevant skills build for our people leaders. Personal Development Focus across the Agency Own the design and delivery of a major strategic program across the Agency to drive the personal empowerment and sense of ownership of our staff’s personal development. This includes improving on the organisation’s growth fund by increasing use and improving reporting and control points. Skills Development Programs Curate and ensure delivery of specific skill programs and courses, leveraging organisation-wide development needs insights, using best-in-class internal and external solutions. Oversee Academy External Partner Strategy Manage the engagement with outside providers for the academy, providing leadership to internal procurement stakeholders, ensuring continuity and value for money on all external engagements. Stakeholder Management On behalf of the Academy team, lead the relationship with key stakeholders to ensure Academy offerings are fit for purpose and incorporate key development needs. Also lead governance process for the Academy, ensuring reporting and approval rigour with the academy’s governance group. Program Accountability Oversight Oversee the creation and maintenance of clear program accountabilities including quarterly team-wide regular program check-ins, and engaging stakeholders to ensure the Academy’s agenda is well-understood and incorporates their inputs. Relationship Building Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, subject matter experts, and community organisations to foster collaboration, support program goals, and drive organisational-wide commitment to inclusion and learning. Educational Best-Practice Deliver insights from external solutions to ensure the Academy’s programs are best-in-class by leveraging deep industry experience as well as developing new relationships with emerging providers and world class experts. Eligibility Qualifications • Essential: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Organisational Development, Education, or a related discipline. • Advanced degree or certification in a relevant area is desired. Knowledge and Experience • Substantial experience (typically 10 years) in leadership development is essential. • Previous expertise in the investment management industry is desired but not required. • Team Management: Proven ability to manage complex programs and create clear accountabilities across diverse sets of team members and stakeholders. Natural • Leadership Development Background: Strong understanding of leadership development as well as a well-defined view on how leaders need to be supported in their journey. • Strategic Thinking and Execution: Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives. Demonstrated ability to execute strategies, drive results, and achieve measurable outcomes in a dynamic organisational environment. • Data Analysis and Evaluation: Proficiency in utilising data analytics to assess program effectiveness, evaluate outcomes, and make data-driven decisions. Experience in collecting, analysing, interpreting data, and program metrics. • Communication and Influencing Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas, influence stakeholders at various levels, and build strong relationships across the organization. Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and facilitating engaging workshops and training sessions. • Change Management and Organisational Development: Experience in leading organisational change initiatives, managing resistance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Knowledge of change management principles and techniques. • Collaboration and Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including employees, senior leaders, external partners, and community organisations. Experience in building and maintaining relationships to drive collaboration and support program goals. • Ethical Conduct and Inclusion Advocacy: Commitment to ethical conduct, promoting inclusion, and fostering a culture of respect, diversity, and belonging within the organisation.
