The Opportunity As a Managing Psychologist you will work in a crucial role, leading the delivery of clinical services to support the mental health and social and emotional wellbeing of children involved with Child Protection. You will also contribute to local leadership, guide trauma-informed approaches to Child Protection practice, and establish and maintain stakeholder relationships to support high level clinical care and support for children. The Managing Psychologist role oversees the provision of trauma informed and culturally responsive clinical services, provides senior clinical expertise for complex cases, undertakes designated portfolio responsibilities, and contributes to Department wide service development. You will manage psychologist staff and teams, and be responsible for providing sound clinical governance for individual and team clinical practice, incorporating processes of recruitment, quality assurance, performance monitoring, professional development, and risk mitigation.
