Opportunity to build a Centre of Excellence with 5 Billion under management Utilise your problem solving with your business and team leadership skills Modern and bright Richmond Head Office location with access to store discounts About the Role Reporting to the GM of Supply and Operations the Head of Commercial (Commercial CoE Manager) will provide leadership and direction to deliver enhanced commercial benefits to the 7-Eleven organisation. This will be delivered by the development and implementation of strategic and operational sourcing, procurement, contracting and supply management strategies and operations processes to ensure the organisation attains the best value in the goods and services that are required to enable the achievement of its business strategy. Duties & responsibilities Design and execute an organisational procurement strategy including integrating the strategic sourcing program across 7-Eleven (Goods for Resale (GFR) and Goods not for Resale (GNFR)) to drive commercial outcomes Set the overall strategy and framework for how different ‘go-to-market’ techniques are to be established and used throughout the organisation Develop innovative procurement solutions at a project/category/enterprise level that support the overall business strategy Implement systems and processes that underpin high quality research and analysis into the supply market and categories, together with organisational demand, needs and requirements Work closely with business stakeholders to identify and manage commercial, contractual, operational, financial, reputational, ethical and supply chain risks Provide leadership, direction and effective management of the Procurement team and cross-functional working groups to achieve a high level of performance in procurement and deliver high quality advice and service to key stakeholders Your Experience Ideal candidate will have over 10 years of sourcing/procurement experience Demonstrated experience in all procurement activities including contract management, cost management, category management, strategic sourcing, project management, risk management, and analysis Proven experience developing and implementing procurement policies, processes, and frameworks, including organisation-wide rollout Previous experience in leading a team Demonstrated ability to gain respect and trust and build and maintain effective business partnering relationships Candidates with exposure to working in Consulting, Retail or FMCG highly regarded Tertiary qualifications in Business or related discipline.
