The North Central Catchment Management Authority creates natural resource management partnerships and programs that deliver lasting change. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and engaging and professional to join our Environmental Water team. Located out of our Huntly office (near Bendigo), the Project Officer will contribute to the development, delivery, and evaluation of on-ground works, including the delivery of environmental water, to protect and enhance high value wetlands within the North Central region including the Kerang Lakes and Gunbower Forest Ramsar sites. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to environmental outcomes through the planning and delivery of on ground works, community engagement and other activities that support rehabilitation of our wetlands. The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for the environment and collaborating with community, with an understanding of natural resource management. This position is a parental leave replacement role for a 12-month fixed term period and has the flexibility to be full or part-time.
