LHG cares for approximately 1,600 residents and clients, supported by over 1300 staff and volunteers, generating revenue in excess of $100 million. LHG is on a significant growth trajectory, having recently expanded into regional Victoria and continuing to explore further opportunities. To support this growth, the organisation is making substantial investments in its infrastructure, including a major digital transformation program aimed at modernising systems, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring future scalability. This investment also includes the redevelopment of key sites and facilities to meet the evolving needs of residents and employees. As part of their ongoing commitment to transformation, LHG is now seeking a dynamic General Manager, Information Technology (IT) to lead and execute the strategy of their IT function and drive the organisation’s digital transformation initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the General Manager, IT will drive LHG’s long-term technology strategy and ensure the group’s systems and infrastructure are secure, integrated and future ready. This role works closely with the Transformation Department to embed digital initiatives into business-as-usual operations, while also overseeing cybersecurity, IT governance, vendor partnerships and team leadership. A key focus is on developing a sustainable, high-performing technology environment that delivers value, supports compliance and enables care and operational excellence across all LHG sites and services. The ideal candidate will be a commercially minded and forward-thinking IT leader with experience driving digital transformation, systems integration and enterprise infrastructure within complex, multi-site environments ideally in the health or aged care sector. You will bring a depth of expertise in cybersecurity, vendor management and IT team development, combined with a strategic mindset and the ability to align technology with broader organisational priorities. A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field is desirable. This is a rare opportunity to shape the digital future of a growing, mission-driven organisation and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those it supports.
