About our role Northern Star has exciting opportunities for experienced Fixed Plant Fitter's to carry out maintenance & repairs on all fixed plant equipment within the processing plant across our world class Jundee and Thunderbox operations, located in the Goldfields.This position is offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off Wednesday to Wednesday roster, with FIFO options from Perth and Busselton. Here's what awaits you Carry out routine inspections of machinery and fixed plant including preventative measures and condition reporting. Assessing the assigned job and obtaining tools and equipment to complete the assigned work. Service breakdowns including pumps and conveyors Processing and crusher part replacements and repairs Ensure quality of information in CMMS (Pronto) database by providing accurate history, job time, hours worked and feedback to Supervisors. To thrive in this role, you'll need Experience: Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic experience on fixed plant equipment; crusher, mill & centrifugal pump rebuild experience & hydraulic fault finding and diagnostics (favourable). Qualifications: Trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting and Machining; current Australian Drivers Licence; computer literacy - Microsoft Office & CMMS Passion for growth: A strong desire to be part of the maintenance team and contribute to Northern Star's dynamic work environment.
