Mission & Vision Providing training and assessment for a number of technical courses ensuring that students are provided with Australian qualifications recognised both locally and internationally. They aim to accelerate the development, demonstration and deployment to its students. THE POSITION Key Responsibilities Will Include This growing training provider is currently seeking an experienced Hospitality and Commercial Cookery Trainer/Assessor to deliver up to Advanced Diploma of Hospitality and Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. The position is a contract position from Monday to Friday (full time hours). The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Deliver structured, flexible, relevant and engaging training sessionsAssist all students to achieve their training goalsSupport students to complete their courses as per their training plans and course schedulesDevelop and deliver courses in accordance with training packages and industry requirements Ensure all training resources are current and are compliantParticipate in and contribute to validation and moderationComplete and maintain all training records accurately and document assessment results for submission Contribute to continuous improvement of the training department and wider organisationMaintain up-to-date knowledge on the VET sector and regulatory requirements Essential Qualifications And Skills TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and AssessmentAdvanced Diploma in HospitalityCertificate III in Commercial Cookery1-2 years experience as a trainer/assessor Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being providedHigh level organisational and administrative skillsFocused on student engagement and learningStrong communication and people management skillsAbility to self-motivate as well as motivate othersAbility to work in a team environment and be receptive and positive to change SALARY Salary is negotiable dependent on experience.
