Description ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Civil Designer/ Design Manager provides design review and verification and management of the digital engineering systems with a focus on improving Indesco standards and design systems efficiency across all offices. This role supports the Project Managers to manage the Canberra Design team and mentor junior team members. Key responsibilities Digital Integration: Deliver strategies for the continuous improvement and maintenance of digital engineering production systems across all offices. Lead the integration of current and future design platforms, including 12d / Revit / Acad / GIS. Prepare and coordinate technical training and lead regular Indesco design team meetings. Design Management: Manage Canberra Civil Design team based on work priorities identified by the Project Managers. Manage design packaging and design interfaces. Project Operations: Monitor design costs and provide regular updates to the Project Managers. Arrange access to information, material and training to complete design and drafting work in accordance with the specification. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with across the business to ensure efficient use of digital engineering production systems. Team Membership: Support a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team. Provide supervision, guidance, and mentoring to junior designers to support their professional growth and development. Governance: Work in accordance with the Business Management System (BMS) and adhere to all Indesco QA, policies and procedures. Exhibits a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Communicates effectively and professionally, fostering strong relationships within project teams and with stakeholders Qualifications Qualification in industry related or relevant course desirable
