You will be responsible for managing inventory accuracy, optimising warehouse layout, coordinating forklift operations, and ensuring compliance with food safety and WHS protocols. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a food or manufacturing warehouse environment and is comfortable leading process improvements. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate stock levels and clearly defined storage locations for all raw materials Develop and implement effective systems for stock control, including part-bag returns Conduct routine cycle counts and full stocktakes Monitor aged inventory and ensure FIFO rotation to minimise waste Ensure optimal use of pallet spaces and a clean, well-organised warehouse layout Enforce clear access in aisles and safe working conditions Maintain and implement allergen segregation protocols Inspect pallet racking for damage and coordinate maintenance Report and manage forklift service and repair requirements Oversee OH&S requirements and training for warehouse staff Implement and uphold 5S principles across warehouse operations Support operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives Coordinate receiving and inventory handling across production sites Manage hygiene, stock rotation, and documentation in line with HACCP and food safety Lead daily forklift operations and material flow activities Assist with the implementation of a new MRP system, including testing and training Liaise with procurement, production, and quality teams to ensure material availability About You Previous experience in warehouse or inventory management, ideally in food or nutraceutical manufacturing Strong understanding of warehouse systems, stock control processes, and MRP/ERP software Familiarity with HACCP, WHS, allergen control, and food safety regulations Proactive, highly organised, and solutions-focused Ability to manage and train a small team while leading by example Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Apply Now If you're a strong communicator and operational problem-solver ready to take ownership of a growing warehouse function, we’d love to hear from you.
