Due to an internal promotion, we are actively seeking a dynamic Retail Operations Analyst to join our retail operations team! The Retail Operations Analyst supports the performance and efficiency of our retail store network by delivering data-driven insights across sales, inventory, labour, and operational processes. This role plays a critical part in aligning retail execution with strategic goals, analysing metrics such as store productivity, labour hours, wage cost, and stock loss. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, has strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of store operations. Key responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to: Operations & Performance Analytics Analyse Store-level, Regional, State KPIs: sales per labour hour, transactions per team member, units per transaction, foot traffic conversion, and shrink Develop and manage dashboards to monitor key retail metrics, including productivity, wages as a % of sales, and schedule efficiency Partner with store leadership and Regional/State Managers to identify labour efficiency gaps and implement corrective actions Evaluate the ROI of operational changes, promotions, and labour models by reviewing their impact on sales and profitability Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Finance, HR, Store Ops, and IT teams to ensure accurate data flows between systems (e.g., POS, TRS, HF) Contribute to projects such as new store setup, operational process reviews, and in-store tech rollouts Assist in training and supporting Regional/State leaders on reporting tools and interpreting operational metrics About you: Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, Retail Management, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in a retail operation, business analysis, or workforce management role. Strong knowledge of labour metrics, wage modelling, and productivity reporting. Proficiency in Excel and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Experience with workforce management systems (e.g., Pronto, TRS, Deputy, Human Force) and retail POS systems. Solid understanding of store-level operations in a high-SKU, homewares or consumer goods environment. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in labour budgeting, wage forecasting, and store productivity modelling Familiarity with modern retail operations tools such as Pronto, TRS, or Kepler Ability to lead data-driven projects from analysis to implementation in a multi-store environment This full-time position offers the opportunity for a passionate Retail Wage Analyst to join to join a fast-paced, highly dynamic design team and environment, and to help support and contribute towards the growth of Global Retail Brands.
