A major bank in Sydney is seeking an Observability Engineer with strong Kibana experience to join their team and build out some user-friendly dash boards. This is an initially a 6 month contract highly likely to extend or go permanent after. Candidates must have PR or citzenship to be considered. Responsibilities: Build and maintain dynamic Kibana dashboards that surface critical operational, application, and business metrics. Work with Elasticsearch queries and visualizations to present data in a clear, compelling format. Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability. Identify and implement improvements to existing dashboards Assist in managing Kibana roles, permissions, and saved objects. Requirements: 2 years experience building and maintaining Kibana dashboards. Experience with log aggregation and observability platforms (e.g., ELK stack). Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, or other visualization tools- desirable Experience in DevOps, observability, or monitoring environments. Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Shell, or JavaScript).
