Job Description About the Role An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrician to join our dynamic and successful team. As a valued member of the Maintenance team and reporting directly to the Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for: Effectively and efficiently operating and monitoring equipment to facilitate achievement of plans and targets. Participate and contribute to our proactive safety culture. Maintain a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values Achieve targets in a timely manner. Identify, assess and control workplace hazards . Complete planned maintenance activities and respond to breakdown situations in a timely and pro-active manner. About you To be successful in this role, you will have: You are a trade qualified Electrician with a current Queensland Electrical Licence. You have previous mining experience, would be advantageous. Understand the companies high regard for safety and hold the same values. Enjoy working in a team environment with a positive attitude, reliability and a passion for your trade. Familiarisation and understanding of relevant legislation and experience in open cut mining and previous experience within the coal industry; Proven problem-solving and fault finding skills, you will be successful in driving continuous improvement of site processes and systems.
