Position Summary The Retail Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store to ensure smooth and profitable business. This role involves managing staff, driving sales performance, optimising inventory levels, maintaining store presentation, and delivering excellent customer service. The Store Manager ensures all activities comply with brand standards, company policies, and relevant legislation. Key Responsibilities • Oversee all aspects of daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures • Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to achieve sales targets and KPIs • Deliver exceptional customer service and handle escalated customer complaints • Prepare and analyse sales and financial reports to monitor performance and profitability • Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate store staff • Maintain stock levels, manage inventory, and coordinate with suppliers • Implement and monitor in-store promotions and marketing strategies • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations • Manage store visual merchandising and ensure the store is clean, organized, and well presented • Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews • Handle cash management, banking, and reconciliation procedures • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations Qualifications and Experience • Proven experience in a retail management role (minimum 2-3 years preferred) • Strong leadership and team management skills • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills • Sound knowledge of retail sales principles and customer service practices • Proficient in MS Office and retail POS systems • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and extended hours as needed
