Join Us and Make an Impact As a Sr Quality Eng Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products and processes. You will lead a team of quality engineers, driving initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. In this role, you will impact the overall quality assurance processes, ensuring that products meet both internal and external quality standards. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team. - Lead and manage a team of quality engineers to ensure product quality and compliance. - Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and processes. - Conduct thorough audits and assessments of products and processes to identify areas for improvement. - Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues to improve Warranty PPM, Customer PPM and COPQ. - Establishes in-process product inspection standards by studying manufacturing methods, devising testing methods and procedures. - Establishes raw material standards by studying manufacturing and engineering requirements; conferring and negotiating with suppliers; devising testing methods and procedures. - Establishes rework standards by devising inspection and physical testing methods and procedures. - Establishes product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance procedures according to ISO9001. - Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies, Quality Management system and procedures and government requirements, collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs and manufacturing and training methods. - Responsible for creating an MOS to capture field-related issues across Pacific, and issue reports pertaining to Critical Customer Alerts (CCA) and Parts per Million (PPM), and other business critical metrics like warranty cost, etc., in Pacific. - Trend analysis to identify SKU's that might affect business revenue will be performed. The role will communicate with other functions in order to implement corrective actions. - Work with external Buy To Sell (BTS) partners to create efficiency in repair management. - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics. - Minimum 6 years of experience in quality engineering or related roles. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Experience with quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
