A highly respected not-for-profit organisation in the health and disability sector is seeking a skilled Service Desk Engineer to support their internal IT operations. This is a hands-on role providing Level 1-2 technical support and infrastructure maintenance, ensuring reliable digital services across a meaningful, values-driven environment. What You'll Do: Deliver responsive technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across desktop, mobile, and cloud platforms Manage and escalate incidents in line with SLAs using ITSM systems Support Microsoft environments including Windows 10/11, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online Administer user accounts via Active Directory and Azure AD / Entra ID Maintain device fleets (laptops, desktops, MFDs, peripherals) from vendors such as HP, Dell, and Lenovo Support endpoint management using Microsoft Intune Assist with network services: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs Contribute to backup and disaster recovery (Veeam, Datto, ShadowProtect) Work with security and email filtering tools (e.g. Mimecast, Webroot, Fortinet, DNS Filter) Liaise with third-party vendors to support line-of-business systems Document solutions and follow ITIL-aligned support practices What You'll Bring: 3 years' experience in a busy Service Desk or Desktop Support environment Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Azure environments Proven troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and cloud services Experience with Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, and imaging Familiarity with ticketing systems like ConnectWise, ServiceNow, Zendesk or Jira Understanding of ITIL principles and service delivery processes Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude Willingness to participate in a 24/7 support environment if required What's in It for You: Work in a purpose-led organisation that makes a real community impact Supportive team culture with a commitment to learning and development Exposure to a wide range of technologies in a meaningful environment Strong job stability and a role where you can truly make a difference Apply now to be part of a team where your technical skills directly support a greater mission.
