We're on the lookout for a motivated mechanic to join our workshop team - whether you're an experienced technician or just starting your career, we want to hear from you! About the Role This is a hands-on mechanical role working with a wide variety of outdoor power equipment, from ride-on and push mowers to chainsaws and brush cutters. You'll be involved in servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and workshop support. The role will be tailored to your skill level - experienced candidates can take on more advanced work and mentoring, while entry-level applicants will receive full on-the-job training and support. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair small engine and outdoor power equipment Perform equipment setups and pre-delivery inspections Assist with workshop maintenance and safety Support warranty repairs and technical documentation Help maintain a clean, organised workspace Provide guidance or receive mentorship, depending on experience What We're Looking For We're open to applicants with varying levels of experience - whether you're trade-qualified or just getting started, the right attitude and willingness to learn matter most. ✔ A genuine interest in mechanics or outdoor equipment ✔ Experience with tools or mechanical work (workshop, TAFE, school, or on the job) ✔ Strong work ethic - reliable, punctual, and team-focused ✔ Willingness to learn and grow (for entry-level candidates) ✔ Diagnostic and fault-finding ability (for experienced candidates) ✔ Trade qualification or equivalent experience is desirable, but not essential ✔ Current driver's licence preferred What We Offer Full-time role (38 hours/week) in a supportive local business Weekend over-time is available Clear progression pathways - from entry-level to trade-qualified technician Ongoing training and product updates Friendly, experienced team and a well-equipped workshop Exposure to trusted equipment brands and varied mechanical work Got questions?
