Partnering with Aurizon, we will be delivering bulk haulage and logistics solutions in one of WA’s largest nickel mines.This diverse role will see you over seeing all aspects of health & safety including providing specialist advice to management, develop and implementing staff wellbeing strategies, and continually promote a proactive health and safety culture for all stake holders. We offer an 8/6 roster with site being only a hour flight from Perth! The Role: Provide WHS advice, information, instruction, and training on siteHelping and managing the risk associated with hazards across the workforceReviewing and analysing injury and incident reports and dataChecking WHS standards and compliance with WHS policies, including workplace inspections, asset inspections, induction, and training of staffPromoting WHS awarenessInvestigating incidents and publishing reports in order to unpack lessons learned and identify remedial actionsReporting to the WHS Training Coordinator. You: Proven experience in a fast paced and multi-disciplined safety roleHealth and Safety qualificationsIn depth knowledge of up to date WHS legislationExperience in WHS policy and report writingFamiliarity with data analysis and monitoring of reporting statisticsAmazing attention to detailSupport with safety training tasks, as required.Great team player with the ability to build rapport across all levels of the businessWill confidently contribute ideas and concepts and bring them to lifeMining and/or Transport industry experience highly regarded Interested?
