This unique opportunity will see you leading two major regional programs — Skilling the Bay and the Workforce Australia Local Jobs Program — to strengthen pathways from education to employment and support regional workforce development. About the Role You will play a pivotal role in the successful planning, delivery and oversight of both programs. With your strong focus on stakeholder engagement, program performance and strategic leadership, this role offers the chance to shape initiatives which directly respond to the needs of the Barwon & Wyndham communities. Some key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: Lead the strategic delivery of major regional initiatives, including Skilling the Bay and Local Jobs Program, ensuring alignment with regional and government priorities. Drive program performance to meet contractual outcomes, KPI’s and stakeholder expectations. Provide strategic regional leadership to strengthen regional education to employment pathways. Manage governance, risk and financial reporting across both programs. Build meaningful partnerships with industry, government, education providers and community organisations. Promote program visibility through strategic communications and stakeholder engagement Lead a high-performing team and foster a collaborative, purpose driven culture. About You: You are a strategic, results-driven leader who thrives in complex, collaborative environments and is passionate about education, training and workforce development. With a strong track record in leading multi-stakeholder initiatives, you’re committed to creating real impact in regional communities.
