About The Role MPK is seeking an experienced Fitter to join our local Maintenance Team located at Wellcamp, QLD. Reporting into the Infrastructure Plant Team, the ideal candidate for this position will be highly motivated and eager to work a Monday to Friday roster, with the opportunity to work occasional weekends and support the Team on site when required. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks across our fleet of equipment, consisting of earthmoving machinery, trucks, trailers, specialised equipment, light vehicles as well as undertake the occasional smaller, ad hoc jobs. They will be able to assist with loading and unloading of Plant and freight. Day To Day Tasks Will involve Service and repairs of all equipment Rebuilds and overhauls Creation of new equipment, building and assembly Conducting daily prestart meetings & filling out of JHAs as requiredGuiding and sharing information with the team of fitters as requiredTravel to worksites if and when needed
