Engineering Trades Australia is seeking an experienced Gold Room Operator to join a high-performing Processing Team at a leading gold mining operation in Western Australia. This will lead to a full-time opportunity, working on an 8:6 day shift roster with FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie . Reporting to the Gold Room Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for ensuring maximum gold recovery through efficient operation of the elution, electrowinning, smelting, and bullion handling processes. This role suits a seasoned operator who values precision, accountability, and thrives in a collaborative and safety-focused team culture. To be considered, you will need: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a gold processing environment Strong working knowledge of gravity recovery, elution, electrowinning, and barring High integrity and meticulous approach to gold handling and security Excellent verbal and written communication skills Current WA Driver’s Licence National Police Clearance suitable for gold industry work Able to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen Full Australian working rights Benefits to this role: Even time roster – 8:6 – Day shift only for now Competitive pay rates!
