Position Summary The Head of Strategy is a key leadership role responsible for driving strategic excellence across all client-facing and internal commercial functions. This person will serve as the strategic brain behind Zib Digital’s digital solutions — shaping campaign architecture, supporting the sales team, guiding client strategy, and helping franchise partners convert opportunities and retain key accounts. This is not a back-office strategist role — it’s a front-facing, commercially-savvy leadership position that requires strong digital acumen, confidence in boardroom conversations, and a deep understanding of performance marketing principles. The role is part of the Production leadership team for Australia and New Zealand. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Vision Lead Zib’s digital strategy function across SEO, SEM, and Paid Social with a focus on performance outcomes Define and continuously evolve our go-to-market strategy, ensuring our service offering remains competitive and best-in-class Translate complex client needs into tailored, scalable digital solutions Guide the evolution of Zib’s digital packages, ensuring they align with market trends and client goals Commercial Support Collaborate closely with franchise partners, BDMs, and the leadership team to help win new business opportunities Oversee audit requests from sales team and coordinate the outcomes with production Attend key sales meetings, contribute to pitch strategy, and present complex digital strategies in a clear, commercially compelling way Develop high-impact strategic documentation and pitch materials to support sales and retention efforts Client Strategy & Retention Oversee the strategic direction of key accounts, ensuring alignment between client objectives, campaign execution, and results Provide thought leadership and guidance to internal account teams on performance marketing strategy and client growth planning Lead strategic workshops, onboarding sessions, and quarterly reviews for high-value clients Innovation & Growth Stay ahead of trends in digital marketing, emerging tech, and platform changes Identify new revenue opportunities, partnerships, and strategic growth areas Represent Zib Digital in key industry events, forums, and leadership conversations What Success Looks Like Increased win-rate on new business pitches and high-value proposals High retention and satisfaction rates for strategic clients Commercial performance of our packages and products improves year-over-year Strategic alignment across departments, partners, and campaign execution Zib is seen as a market leader in digital performance strategy Key Requirements Experience: 6 years in digital marketing with a focus on performance marketing (SEO, Google Ads, Paid Social) Proven success in a digital strategy, commercial, or solutions-focused leadership role Demonstrated experience presenting and closing strategic solutions with medium to large clients Experience leading teams and collaborating across departments Skills: Deep knowledge of performance marketing platforms and tools Exceptional communication and presentation skills Commercially minded, able to link digital performance to business impact Confident in leading client conversations, workshops, and high-stakes pitches Able to simplify complex ideas and deliver actionable strategies Personal Attributes: Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth Hands-on, solutions-oriented, and highly collaborative Energetic, persuasive, and comfortable in fast-paced environments Curious, analytical, and always looking to improve What We Offer A senior leadership role in one of the most respected digital agencies in the region Direct access to a high-performing leadership team and ambitious franchise network Ability to shape the future of Zib’s product and strategy offering A collaborative culture where innovation and ideas are valued Flexibility and autonomy to lead with impact Opportunities for growth, leadership, and expansion across ANZ Where in the world would you be based?
