The key duties of the position include The Role Airborne Surveillance Control and Intelligence Systems Program Office (ASCISPO), located at Royal Australian Air force (RAAF) Base Williamtown in the beautiful Newcastle/Port Stephens region, performs sustainment and major capability upgrades for the Air Force's fleet of E-7A Wedgetail and MC-55 Peregrine aircraft. In this role you will have a critical leadership role working cooperatively with stakeholders across Defence, Defence Industry and international partners supporting the E-7A Wedgetail, you will employ your expert knowledge of asset management and product sustainment to assure Defence capability. Leading a small team of engineering, technical and logistics personnel, you will be responsible for managing sustainment assurance activities including asset availability, high level stakeholder engagement, contractor performance, financial performance, risk management, security compliance, and assurance of future capability.
