The Role The Trades & Fleet Services Administrator plays a vital role in supporting Council operations across trade services, public domain lighting, contracts administration, and fleet management. Through accurate record-keeping, compliance, and streamlined coordination, this role ensures work is delivered safely, reliably, and efficiently. You will provide administrative and technical support for Trades Services—handling scheduling, contractor coordination, and job tracking—while keeping detailed records of equipment, services, and contractor performance. Within Contracts Administration, you’ll manage contract documentation, assist with procurements and renewals, and ensure compliance within Council frameworks. In the Public Domain Lighting maintenance area, you’ll maintain asset data and schedule upkeep in line with safety standards, liaising with lighting contractors and internal teams. For Fleet Management, you’ll support maintenance scheduling, insurance and registration tracking, driver and asset documentation, and reporting on utilisation, costs, and compliance. The Person You’re a pro at using Excel to manage data, staying composed when things get busy, and juggling multiple priorities across a range of service areas.
