They are seeking experienced Boilermakers to join their Mt Thorley workshop . What's on Offer? Full-time Competitive pay rates: Day shift : $40.59 per hour Afternoon shift : $46.68 per hour (15% loading) Night shift : $52.77 per hour (30% loading) Earn up to $2000 per week in a local role Strong safety culture & supportive team environment Ongoing training & career progression opportunities Immediate start About the Role You will be part of a close-knit team of skilled tradespeople, supervisors, and coordinators who prioritize safety and teamwork. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics Heavy fabrication mining equipment, heavy section plate welding/repair work Crack testing and repair on excavator arms Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical defects Fabricate and assemble structural metal product Perform preventative maintenance and repair mechanical systems What You Need Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication (Boilermaking) Experience with Flux Core welding Ability to pass a weld test (Double V joint on 16mm plate, horizontal & vertical) Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Physically fit and able to work in various environments (heights, confined spaces) A strong safety mindset and ability to work in a team Must pass a full medical assessment, including a drug & alcohol test How to Apply If you're looking for a stable, well-paying Boilermaker role with a reputable company, we'd love to hear from you!
