Workfast is seeking a Service Technician for our client based in Wangara , WA. You’ll be working with a global leader in industrial mixer technology, providing repair, servicing, and technical support for specialised gearbox and rotating equipment — both in-house and occasionally on customer sites. What you get: $65.00 per hour penalties Monday to Thursday: 5:30am – 1:30pm, Friday: 5:30am – 11:30am Overtime available when required Immediate start with temp to perm opportunity Work with cutting-edge equipment and leading global mixer systems What you need: Australian Recognised Trade Certificate - MANDATORY* Manual Driver's Licence Proven experience with gearbox or rotating equipment maintenance and repair Experience with Lightnin mixers or components like bearings, gears, end-float, backlash, and using micrometers/dial indicators Must supply own hand tools – specialty tools are provided Ability to read technical drawings and interpret repair documentation Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment Good communication and computer skills – SAP/Microsoft Office experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Organised and safety-conscious with excellent attention to detail What you will be doing: Troubleshooting, testing, and repairing industrial mixing equipment and components Disassembly, cleaning, and inspection (DCI) of customer units Documenting disassembly using forms and photographs for teardown reports Ensuring repaired units meet required technical and quality specifications Operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and workshop machinery Supporting warehouse, receiving, inspection, and shipping processes Occasionally travelling to customer sites to provide service or support Communicating with product teams to report enhancement opportunities Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment About us Workfast is a labour-hire company working with some of Australia's largest companies.
