About the roleLead a transformative vision for student wellbeing, accessibility, and resolution services that foster an inclusive campus community where all students can thrive. As a key member of the Student Journey leadership team, you will champion innovative approaches to student support that are proactive, trauma-informed, and centered on student success. Reporting to the Executive Principal, Student Journey, you will lead a dedicated team across Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Student Wellness and Accessibility Office (SAWO), and the Student Grievance Unit (SGU). You will collaborate with faculties and other stakeholders to embed best practices in student support across the institution, informed by contemporary research, legislative frameworks, and professional standards. About youYou will provide visionary leadership for a comprehensive portfolio encompassing student mental health, wellness, accessibility services, and resolution of complaints and grievances. You will drive a paradigm shift toward preventative wellbeing initiatives that anticipate and address student needs before they escalate, creating a campus environment where every student feels supported, heard, and empowered. About the DepartmentFour teams work in collaboration in the Student Journey Portfolio: Library, Student Services, Student Community and Resolution and Portfolio Management. The Overall goals of the portfolio across the team are to support and service: successful student completion, student engagement and retention and transformative and personalised student journeys.
