Summary: Due to continued growth and our strategic focus on the APAC region, we are seeking a Senior Performance Executive - APAC to join our in-house Paid Media team. This role will be instrumental in supporting the growth of SailGP's fandom and achieving key business objectives specifically within the Asia-Pacific markets (specifically AU, NZ and CH). Reporting to the Paid Media Lead, you will manage the campaign planning, hands-on execution and optimisation of our performance marketing channels. You will ensure best-in-class campaign delivery across Paid Social, Paid Search and Display with a strong emphasis on driving engagement, brand awareness and ticket sales. Our ideal candidate has 3 years of proven experience in performance marketing, with a significant portion of this focused on the APAC region. You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial global environment and are adept at making data-led decisions. This role involves managing substantial budgets, directly through self-serve platforms and some with the support of external agencies. Given the global nature of our team and operations, a degree of flexibility to work across UK and APAC time zones is required. Roles & Responsibilities: Media Planning Develop cross-channel digital plans specifically tailored for the APAC region, aligning with global business objectives such as audience growth and lead generation Formulate advanced campaign strategies across key media platforms relevant to APAC across Paid Search, Programmatic, Video, Social and Mobile channels and platforms Alongside the Paid Media Lead, contribute to and maintain the central strategic playbook, ensuring its effective adaptation and execution by regional team Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends, platform updates and best practices Work with the regional teams, ensuring assets meet best practice guidelines and are culturally resonant for APAC audiences Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and growth within the APAC market, leveraging new platforms and technologies. Campaign Execution Build out best-in-class campaign structures within Search and Social platforms. Must have advanced hands-on experience using Meta, TikTok Ads Manager and Google Ads. Implement robust testing frameworks (e.g., A/B testing, creative iterations, new platforms, audience segmentation) to continuously drive incremental value, generate actionable learnings and ensure optimal performance across campaigns Directly manage and optimise performance marketing efforts that drive social growth, brand awareness and fan engagement specifically within APAC markets. Produce insightful paid media reports, demonstrating strong analytical skills and an advanced ability to interpret results within the broader marketing and business context Good understanding of attribution methodologies and how to interpret this data to make strategic decisions. Agency Management & Operations Ensure efficient and timely delivery of campaigns and assets for media agency for APAC ticketing campaigns Responsible for maintaining ‘data-toolkits’ – ensuring all campaign data, ticketing data, and reports are backed up, with learnings documented for future reference. Closely monitor budget allocation and spending across APAC campaigns, completing monthly spend reconciliation Feed into process improvements for both Media and operational efficiency, particularly in managing workflows between UK and APAC teams Cross-functional collaboration Work with Fan Engagement, Marketing, Social and Content teams on Paid Media plans and share performance trends that could provide valuable insights. Collaborate with the Social team, using paid media to maximise the engagement of high performing content that supports League Growth initiatives. Partner closely with local APAC teams to develop and execute integrated content-led, brand awareness and lead generation campaigns across relevant platforms. Skills & Requirements: Bachelor's degree or apprenticeship in a relevant field. 3-5 years of experience in media planning and buying, with a demonstrable track record of success Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Ads and Google Analytics is essential Strong analytical background coupled with a strategic mindset and an understanding of omni-channel strategy and attribution. Exceptional project management, communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects and stakeholders across different time zones and cultures. Professional background from a top-tier marketing agency, e-commerce consumer brand or advertising platform provider. Ability to work flexibly across UK and APAC time zones as required Desirable: Experience activating programmatic display campaigns within any DSP Familiarity with additional APAC-specific digital platforms and trends (e.g., WeChat, Line, Naver, Douyin depending on specific market focus).
