Your new role Your designated portfolio will be the Corporate Services Team and, as the Human Resources Partner, you will work closely with Senior Managers, Managers, and employees to foster the development of a workplace environment where all employees feel engaged and connected to the work of the organisation, to each other and to the Community. This will be achieved through effective partnering to support and implement human resource and organisational priorities addressing identified gaps. Operating within established HR and Organisational Development policies, the Human Resources Business Partner supports their BU and team in building a stable and responsive workforce. This includes analysing workforce data, guiding recruitment, induction, and exit processes, and advising on workforce planning. You will foster a positive culture by supporting engagement initiatives, facilitating change management, and coaching on performance and disciplinary matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies. You will partner with the business providing expert advice on awards, agreements, and procedures, while monitoring key compliance areas such as police checks, visa status, probation, and performance reviews. You will work alongside the risk management and workplace safety team supporting with continuous improvement of HR systems and policies across the employee lifecycle. What You'll Need To Succeed The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of current IR trends and the interpretation and application of legislation and award / EBA interpretation. As a generalist, you will also have a strong background in talent management, organisational design, HR online system development/implementation. Experience working within a unionised work environment is highly desirable. This position is a direct 12-month contact at the GO 6 level and is open to candidates seeking .8 or full-time.
