They’re now seeking a Paraplanner who’s not just technically sharp, but confident and capable of working directly with clients. The Opportunity: This isn’t your typical back-office paraplanning role. You’ll be front-and-centre, actively supporting advisers and engaging with clients to deliver a seamless and highly personalised advice experience. This is a newly created role that can be full-time or part-time depending on the successful candidate. You’ll support several advisers and work closely with the Managing Director in a fast-paced but supportive environment, with strong compliance systems, established processes, and a genuine team spirit. Key responsibilities include: Prepare compliant SOAs and advice documents aligned with client goals and regulatory standards Provide direct support to advisers before, during and after client meetings Conduct product and investment research across a broad APL (including shares, managed funds and insurance) Liaise with clients and institutions regarding applications, updates and administrative enquiries Maintain accurate client records in the CRM and ensure documentation is up to date and audit-ready Assist in portfolio reviews and prepare strategy papers and recommendations Your Skills & Experience: Prior experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar financial services support role ADFP or actively working towards a relevant financial planning qualification Strong knowledge of financial planning, investment and insurance products Confident communicator with a genuine interest in client-facing work Highly organised, compliance-focused and capable of juggling competing deadlines Skilled in financial planning software, CRM systems and Microsoft Office Motivated, proactive and team-oriented – a safe pair of hands with great people skills The Offer: Work/life balance is a genuine priority Join a highly respected local advisory firm with a loyal client base and solid reputation Lovely office environment – modern fit-out, car parking and close to cafés, restaurants and gym Ongoing training and development Regular staff events and a strong team culture A chance to work closely with highly experienced advisers and learn from the best in the business To ensure compliance with Australian employment law, this role is only open to candidates who possess either the right to work in Australia, permanent residency, citizenship status or visa status.
