N Position Type Management JOB SUMMARY We are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant F&B Outlets Manager to support the delivery of exceptional food and beverage experiences across our hotel venues Your role will be an all-rounder Assistant to the Food & Beverage Outlets Managers, this includes Banquets, Terraces Restaurant, In-room dining and Bars. This role assists in the development and execution of departmental strategies, helping to align operations with brand standards and service initiatives. You will play a key role in supporting managers daily operations, enhancing guest and associate satisfaction, and helping the department meet financial and service goals CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience - High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area. OR - 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area. What we are looking for - A team player to ensures that regular, on-going communication occurs in all areas of food and beverage (e.g., pre-meal briefings, staff meetings) - A leader to foster an atmosphere in all food and beverage areas that meets or exceeds guest expectations. - A passionate leader that sets expectations and holds the food and beverage leadership team accountable for demonstrating desired service behaviors. - Previous experience with estimating food, liquor, wine and other beverage consumption in order to anticipate amounts to be purchased or requisitioned. - Effective feedback to employees so they receive on-going training to understand guest expectations. - A team player to sets goals and expectations for direct reports using the performance review process and holds staff accountable for successful performance. - Strong communication skills to liaise with other departments to improve the productivity of the hotel and enhance the Guests' experience - A team player and hands-on leader with the ability to motive, engage and inspire a large team - A focus on fostering a strong company culture and values - Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word - Previous experience with MICROS would be advantageous - Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekend and holiday periods - Creates and nurtures a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing service. - Responds quickly and proactively to employee's concerns. - Uses coaching skills throughout the property. - Demonstrates self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm. - Motivates and encourages staff to solve guest and employee related concerns Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service - Provides excellent customer service. - Responds quickly and proactively to guest's concerns. - Understands the brand's service culture. - Sets service expectations for all guests internally and externally. - Takes ownership of a guest complaint/problem until it is resolved or it has been addressed by the appropriate manager or employee. - Follows up to ensure complaints have been addressed to the guest's satisfaction. - Develops a relationship with all guests to build repeated clientele internally and externally.
