The Role We are looking for a part-time Practice Nurse Manager to join our Port Macquarie medical centre. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing daily treatment room operations and nursing services. You’ll lead and support a dedicated team of nurses to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care. Working closely with the Practice Manager and General Practitioners, you’ll coordinate clinical services, manage workflow and resources, and foster a collaborative, high-performing environment. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with leadership skills, a passion for primary health care, and a commitment to delivering efficient and compassionate care. Key Responsibilities In this hands-on leadership role, you'll manage clinical operations, support your team’s development, and work closely with GPs to deliver high-quality patient care: Provide clinical leadership and effective management to a team of nurses Ensure the treatment room is run efficiently and safely with appropriate staffing Coach, train and mentor the nursing team to consistently deliver best-practice care Support GPs with health assessments, care plans and chronic disease management Ensure compliance with all clinical safety and quality standards Collaborate with the Practice Manager to understand key performance drivers and manage team resources effectively The Successful Candidate We’re looking for a confident and compassionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting.
