Perspective Recruitment are seeking experience Warehouse operators and pickers to work with our client based in the Erskine Park. Ensuring the safe and efficient picking, packing receipt, storage and despatch of inventory to feed business operations and customer demand. This postion will require you to work casual ongoing, full-time hours Monday to Friday. Hours and Remuneration 7:30am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri) $32-$33 per hour Responsibilities: Accurate and timely ‘picking’ of components as well as assembly and production work in a manufacturing environment Receiving and reach forklift operating Receive and process inventory (unload, label, store) Dispatch duties and receiving RF scanning Thoroughly inspect inventory for any damage and discrepancies To be successful: RF scanning experience or equivalent (MUST HAVE!) Drivers license would be ideal Understand wight distribution for loading / unloading trucks Strong communication skills - can relate to people from different cultural backgrounds. Excellent attention to detail. Comfortable working independently as well as in a team. Able to accurately complete paperwork. Able to work with minimal supervision. Flexible, enthusiastic and ability to use intiative Able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable performing routine, repetitive tasks. Able to lift and move heavy objects – good physical fitness required. Able to stand for extended periods. Good numeracy and mechanical aptitude Working knowledge of process environments Experience in a similar position, within the lighting or a related industry, desirable.
