(RCSI) is looking for a new Activities Coordinator to join their dedicated team and lead the planning and delivery of engaging social outings for older residents in the Hawkesbury. About the Opportunity… As part of the Hawkesbury Neighbour Aid program, this role focuses on designing and coordinating group-based social outings for seniors in the community. You’ll be supported by a collaborative team and passionate volunteers to make these events run smoothly. The role includes: Developing a quarterly calendar of fun and accessible activities Booking and coordinating venues Assigning volunteer drivers and assistants Managing bookings, client communication, and light admin Attending outings and making sure everything goes to plan The details… There is 1 vacancy being advertised Part Time 22 hours per week (over 3 or 4 days between Mon – Thurs) SCHADS Award Level 3 (dependant on experience) Based in Richmond, however travel may be required About the organisation… RCSI is a dedicated community organisation based at Richmond Neighbourhood Centre, supporting the Hawkesbury community through inclusive programs that strengthen individuals and families, build community connection, and create opportunities for people to thrive. Selection Criteria… Experience planning and delivering community-based group activities or events Understanding of the needs of older people and a commitment to promoting social inclusion. Well-developed organisational and time management skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and clients Ability to manage client bookings, handle small amounts of money, and complete relevant administrative tasks Ability to work independently and take initiative Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) Current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle Experience working or volunteering in a community-based aged care or support program (desirable) Knowledge of the Hawkesbury community & local venues (desirable) Are you excited yet?
