Overview See yourself in our team: As the Senior Technical Manager, you will be responsible for providing scheme wide technical support to the SA Operations, with an ability to understand the impacts of decisions across multiple business units. You will be a technical contact for both the Technical Managers and ReturntoWorkSA, with a passion for quality improvement and innovation. How you'll make an impact On a day to day basis you will: Provide high quality customer-focused services by providing excellent customer service, understanding customer needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely resolution of issues. Provide capability support to new starters in the Technical Manager space, including but not limited to: training and coaching on workflow management; managing competency sign offs; shadowing and supporting new team members on the floor and in training sessions; and monitoring and capturing staff competency in the skills matrix; support in developing crucial risk assessment skills to ensure quality decision-making is aligned with RTWSA and Gallagher Bassett policies and procedures Identifies gaps of engagement in workshops, presentations and training sessions and leads technical team on addressing these Provide ongoing technical capability uplift to the business, including but not limited to: arranging ongoing training sessions; providing ad hoc technical support; completion of monthly audits; and attendance at team meetings to promote technical updates Proactively identifies trends impacting schemes and formulates solutions to mitigate associated risks and influence changes in technical application About you We are interested in hearing from people who have: Previous experience as a technical specialist within all claim management segments. Demonstrated technical claims management experience; wider scheme knowledge and impacts of each business unit Experience in coaching and supporting others.
