Everyone who works within Roses in the Ocean has a lived experience of suicide which is defined as ‘having experienced suicidal thoughts, survived a suicide attempt, cared for someone through suicidal crisis, or been bereaved by suicide.’ About the role Reporting to the Head of Projects & Workshops Support, the Instructional Design Specialist is responsible for the design, maintenance, evaluation and continuous improvement of workshops, eLearning modules, and blended courses within the PAWS team. This role also contributes to the design and maintenance of course descriptions, promotions and website content in collaboration with the extended workshops team. Requirements Summary of Duties: Design and update inclusive, culturally appropriate, and trauma-informed learning content. Collaborate with subject matter experts, facilitators, and people with lived experience to refine content. Manage and coordinate activities within our Learning Management System (LMS). Analyse feedback to enhance participant experiences and learning outcomes. Support facilitators through onboarding and ongoing development. Maintain project tracking systems and contribute to process improvements across the organisation. Write compelling course descriptions and promotional materials in line with brand guidelines. Please note, if you live within the Brisbane greater region, there will be an expectation for you to work a Hybrid model, 2 days from home, 3 days in our office located in Newstead.
