The Role Based full-time on-site in Canberra, you will lead the MEICA construction scope for a four-year, $400M program improving wastewater capacity and reliability for the region. Reporting to the Delivery Project Manager and supported by senior engineers, you will drive the execution of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls, and Automation works throughout the construction phase. Your responsibilities will span cost, time, quality, and safety management, while collaborating closely with design, procurement, commissioning, and commercial teams. Responsibilities Oversee the entire MEICA construction delivery, ensuring milestones are met within cost, time, and quality targets Drive construction planning and programming with hands-on schedule control Manage financial reporting, procurement input, and head contract MEICA claims Work closely with Design and Commissioning teams to ensure seamless project integration Lead risk, safety, and compliance processes, including documentation and site implementation Supervise and support a team of M&E Project Engineers Liaise with stakeholders including JV partners, subcontractors, and suppliers Requirements Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 10-15 years' experience in MEICA construction Previous experience in water or wastewater treatment projects (construction stage) Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in complex, high-value infrastructure environments Strong stakeholder engagement, risk management, and commercial acumen If you're ready to take the next step in your career, apply now or contact ilan@rec-partners.com.au for more details.
